  • 1 x Basil- Thai (Ocimum basilicum)

    Aromatic annual growing to 50cm. Keeps its flavour when cooked better than other standard varieties. Leaves are commonly used to flavour Asian dishes, as a condiment and in salads. Flavour has a hint of liquorice. Can be grown in containers.

    Life Cycle: Frost tender Annual
    Plant Height: 50cm
    Position: Full sun, moist well drained soil

  • 1 x Basil- Genovese (Ocimum basilicum)

    Aromatic annual growing to 60cm. Large fragrant green leaves. The best variety for making pesto. Can be grown in containers. Can be used fresh or dried.

    Plant Height: 60cm
    Position: Full sun, moist well drained soil

  • 1 x Basil- Dark Opal (Ocimum basilicum)

    Aromatic annual growing to 70cm. Very attractive variety with dark purple slightly crinkled leaves. Good for adding extra colour to salads, rice dishes and basil vinegar. Can be grown in containers. Can be used fresh or dried.

    Position: Full sun, moist well drained soil

  • 1 x Basil- Lettuce Leaf (Ocimum basilicum)

    Aromatic annual growing to 40cm. Large green slightly crinkled leaves up to 12cm long and almost as wide. Similar flavour to Sweet basil but a little milder. Good for tossing in salads or wrapping up fish or chicken.

    Position: Full sun, moist well drained soil

  • 1 x Basil- Mrs Burns Lemon (Ocimum basilicum)

    Heirloom. Annual growing to 50cm with fragrant green leaves and pink flowers. Leaves have a strong lemon and lime flavour that is ideal to use in salads, rice dishes, soups, stews and teas and desserts. Can be grown in containers. Can be used in potpourri. Is more heat tolerant than regular basils. Has good disease resistance. Also known as "Lime Basil".
