Jiffy Seed Starter Pellets
Jiffy peat pellets. These neat little compressed peat pellets provide a complete growing medium ready for your seeds or cuttings. Wrapped in fine netting and compressed into a pellet the growing compound expands into a cylinder once soaked in water. When seedlings are established and ready to plant simply dig a hole and plant the entire thing. Peat pellets are convenient and easy to use, preventing seedlings from transplant shock as there is no messing around with pots or potentially damaging the root system of your seedlings. Compressed dried pellets are very lightweight and easy to store.
*Not suitable for tiny or weak seeds that would normally be grown in seed raising mix.

Ratings & Reviews
Jiffy Seed Starter PelletsExpected Jiffy Pellets (as in a brand) but these are a different brand. After sowing seeds in ~ 50 pellets over the last few months I have to wonder if they are an imported product with toxins in it??....1 out of 50 has sprouted! The rest a waste of seeds and time! Before writing this review I did a little experiment with 6 of these pellets and 6 Woolworths pellets, same seeds, same location, same watering etc. 0 germination from these, 5 out of 6 germinated from the Woolworths ones. So... I can't recommend this product, the remaining ones will go in the bin as there is definitely something iffy about this Jiffy batch!
