Ratings & Reviews

Beetroot- Cylindra

Really nice variety, easy to grow. Planted these in Winter in northern NSW. Sprouted quickly and took around 3-4 months to mature. Not a great shape for a single piece on burgers (non-circular) but can easily double up pieces. Great shape for wedges. Really easy to peel, easier than regular beetroot due to its shape. Can be roasted with foil easily too. Does seem to stick out of the ground more easily than other varieties (making the skin a bit more woody in that area) but a good variety to grow.
