Poppy- Flanders
12 September 2020People don't seem to like planting this because of its association with Remembrance day. Perhaps people see it as an old fashioned plant? I planted some along the driveway. It is a rather ratty plant and isn't very attractive until it flowers. The bright red colour is worth it, though. Nothing else in the garden, other than the oriental poppies have such good colour.
