French heirloom variety named after the famous fairy tale of the same name. Attractive flattened fruits with orange skin and uniform ridges growing to around 10-15kg. Sweet flavour. Good for baking, pies and for carving. Fast growing.

Germination: 5-10 days @ 21-35°C

Position: Full sun, moist well drained soil

*Notes: Harvest fruit when vine dries out. Susceptible to mildew.

Grew nicely without much work. Not as sweet as expected, both eaten fresh and stored for a year without change.
