Asian vegetable grown for its long stalks, small yellow flowers and thick green leaves. Unique flavour. Most commonly used in soups, stir fries and as a steamed vegetable. Harvest whole plant when it begins to bolt. Choi San is also known as Tsai Hsin and is a variety of Choi Sum(syn. Choy Sum).
