Perennial vegetable growing to 100cm. Long stalks; mostly green in colour with tinges of crimson. Excellent flavour; most commonly used in desserts. Good stewed and in pies and sauces. Very hardy, low maintenance variety. DO NOT EAT LEAVES, Rhubarb leaves are poisonous.
