Perennial growing to 60cm. Spreading habit. Bright green leaves that are covered in fine hairs giving the plant a woolly appearance. Leaves are rounded and have a strong scent which is like a cross between mint & fresh apples. Apple mint has a history of medicinal and aromatherapy uses. Leaves can be eaten raw or cooked, commonly used in teas, jams, desserts & sauces due to their fruity mint flavour. Light pink flowers in late summer. Can be grown in containers. Also known as "Woolly Mint".
