Egyptian Heirloom variety dating back to 1800's. Red flattened shaped beets which resemble a turnip in shape. Smooth textured red beets with sweet juicy flavour. Most of the beet forms above ground level. This variety stores well. Also known as "Egyptian Beetroot" or "Egyptian Flat Rooted Beetroot".
