Southern Italian broccoli variety grown for its leaves. Flowering heads should be removed as they appear. Leaves are cooked and eaten like spinach with a flavour similar but more mild than Kale. Easy to grow and very productive. Good for baby-leaf production. Also known as "Leaf Broccoli". 

How to sow and grow:

Method: Sow direct or raise seedlings
Sowing Depth: 8mm
When: Autumn, winter and spring
Germination: 3-7 days @ 8-30°C
Hardiness / Life Cycle: Hardy Biennial (usually grown as an annual)
Row Spacing: 50cm
Plant Spacing: 20cm
Position: Full or part sun, well drained soil
Days to Maturity/Flowering: 40-65 days
*Notes: Remove flowering stems. Harvest leaves regularly to encourage growth. Protect from aphids and caterpillars.
