A very popular Mexican variety that produces tapered dark green fruit that turn red when mature. Mild flavour. Plants grow to around 65cm and produce fruit 15 x 7cm in size. Good variety for stuffing, roasting, sauces and salads. Very popular as a dried chilli; the dried fruit is called 'Chile Ancho'. MILD (HEAT: 3/10)
