Soak Millet seed for 6 hours, drain all excess water and rinse seed. Rinse seed twice a day for two days until small sprouts begin to shoot. Sprouted Millet seed has a mild nutty flavour. Sprouts are used raw and cooked; ideal for sandwiches, salads. Sprouted Millet can also be dried and used in bread making. Also known as "Proso millet", "French millet", "Broom millet" and "White millet".
Sprouts are ready in around 1-2 days.
