Australian native specimen tree to 10 meters. Rough brown trunk with multi-stemmed upright branches and large broad green leaves. Flowers profusely from December to May, flowers are pinky-red to orangy-red in colour. Tolerant of clay soils and drought. Great for attracting native birds and bees. Produces large gumnuts after flowering. This hardy Australian native plant is commonly found of the east coast of Australia and is a popular street tree.
