Biennial normally grown as an annual, growing to 60cm. Light bright orange stalks, veins and midribs, shiny green crumpled leaves. Holds its colour well when cooked. Stalks are thick and tender. Very productive variety; good for baby leaves. Can also be grown as an ornamental in a mixed border or garden bed. Silver beet is also known as "Swiss Chard" and is often confused with "Spinach".
