Excellent results
23 March 2019First time growing foxgloves. I put them in a seed tray, and I think I put them under plastic till they came up ( blue mountains, cool climate), then potted the whole tray into the ground in a shady spot and kept them watered. When they were large enough, I transplanted them, and then had to do it again when they were larger, as I hadn't t expected them all to survive. You can't kill these things, at least not where I live. I have dozens in various spot in the garden. The snails don't eat them, a big plus. Only thing is, it takes a couple of summers for them to flower, and I will probably moved by then. I always knew that, but wanted to see if I could do it successfully, and treated it as an experiment, which worked beautifully.
