Dwarf (bush) bean. Named after the beans resemblance in colour and shape to a kidney. The seeds within the pods are used as a dried bean and have an excellent flavour ideal for soups, stews and homemade baked beans. Cook well before eating, do not consume raw beans. Dried beans store very well.
