Perennial growing to 50cm. Bushy upright plant with wrinkled green leaves and small pale yellow flowers. Leaves have a pleasant lemon flavour and are commonly used to flavour summer drinks, teas, desserts and salads. Has many medicinal uses. Can be used in potpourri. Attract bees. Also known as "Bee balm".

Lemon Balm
13 February 2021This is the biggest plant I've grown so far from seed. I have had my lemon balm plant for over a year now and its still doing so well. Use it heaps in my cooking and diy cleaning products as it gives them a great smell. It has a very beautiful lemon sent. One of my favourite plants in my garden.
