Heirloom variety. Large vines that produce round, green and white, smooth skinned fruit. Fruit has hard white/yellow flesh with red seeds and is not eaten fresh but instead is used in the kitchen for making jams, preserves, cakes, pies and other desserts. Flavour is pleasant but quite neutral. Stores well. Also known as Colorado Preserving Melon, Citron Melon, Jam Melon, Citron Melon

Position: Full sun, moist well drained soil

*Notes: Needs to be well watered. Is pollinated by bees.
