Perennial but often grown as an annual. Upright bushy plants with green lance shaped leaves producing tall upright lavender blue flower spikes. Good for flower beds, borders and mass planting. Good for cut flowers and dried arrangements. Long flowering. Attracts bees and butterflies. Also known as "Mealy Sage".


How to sow and grow:

Method: Sow direct or raise seedlings

When: Spring and early summer(can be grown any time in tropical climates)
Germination: 15-21 days @ 20-22°C
Hardiness / Life Cycle: Half hardy Perennial

Plant Height: 90cm
Position: Full sun, moist well drained soil

This salvia is amazing! Mine is so tall and I had 100% germination rates. They can be temperamental when planting out but mine have lasted for ages and are blooming like crazy! Would highly recommend.
