Amaranthus tricolor

  • Large green leaves
  • Baby leaf, sprouts & microgreens

This variety of Amaranth is most commonly grown as a leaf vegetable; it's fantastic for baby leaf, salad greens, sprouts or microgreens. The plants produce large green leaves that have excellent flavour and tender texture.  Very popular in Asian cuisine; excellent in soups, stews, salads and stir-fries. Fast growing. Very nutritious. Heat tolerant.
