Long thin pepper variety with thin walls and a wrinkled appearance. Originating from Japan. Most fruits are sweet flavoured and very mildly spicy, however around ten percent of fruits are significantly hotter than others. The fruit turns red when ripe but it usually harvested when around 10cm long and still green. Commonly served sauteed, roasted, fried or as tempura. Also known as "Dragon Roll Pepper"
