    Deep red, flattened globe shaped roots growing up to 10cm. With attractive tall glossy leaves, this is an ideal variety for salad greens.

    Life Cycle: Hardy Biennial (usually grown as an annual)

    Position: Full sun, moist well drained soil

  • 1 x Sugarsnap Pea- Cascadia (Pisum sativum)

    Climbing sugar snap to 100cm. Plants are best grown on a trellis but can also be grown on the ground as a bush. Very sweet, thick walled, green, edible pods to 8cm with good flavour. Excellent raw, steamed or fried. Good yield. Good home garden variety.

  • 1 x Broad Bean- Aquadulce (Long Pod) (Vicia faba)

    Long pods, growing to 25cm, which contain seeds that are commonly referred to as "beans". Beans are used fresh or dried. Young beans can be eaten raw in salads, old beans are cooked as a vegetable. Excellent flavour. Broad beans are also known as "Fava beans".
