Penstemon strictus

Perennial to 45cm. Native to the southern Rocky Mountains. Clump forming habit with green leaves and flower spikes covered with bright vivid blue flowers in late spring to early summer. Great for cottage gardens, mixed beds, borders and rockeries. Drought tolerant and low maintenance plant once established. Great for attracting bees, birds and butterflies. Also known as "Rocky Mountain Beardtongue".
