One of the 'Benary's Giant' range of zinnias. An annual growing to 100cm with large double flowers held on tall strong stems. Rich ruby-red flowers with a touch of white/lavender at the centre. Suitable for bedding, mass planting, containers and cut flower production. Attracts bees and butterflies.
Zinnia Benary's Giant are premium seeds producing vigorous plants with a high proportion of double flowers on long sturdy stems. Flowers can be grown as a cut and come again crop with multiple flushes of flowers over summer and into autumn. The flowers have densely packed petals, measure 10-15cm across and last well as cut flowers. Heat and drought tolerant. The Benary's Giant series is recommended by the Association of Specialty Cut Flower Growers (in the US) and is widely grown by commercial cut flower producers.
