Biennial that grows to around 200cm. Plants are very fragrant and green hollow stems with green leaves made up of smaller green serrated leaflets and producing large rounds displays of small white/green flowers. Stems are both used as a vegetable and as a flavouring. Leaves are used as a herb, for making teas and in salad. Seeds are used as for flavouring liqueurs, desserts, confectionery and teas. Plant also has medicinal uses. Plants self seeds freely. Will die back over winter.
