French heirloom first introduced in 1892. A very reliable and very productive variety that is most commonly grown specifically for pickle production but can also be left to mature and used as a salad cucumber. Plants produce masses of small, sweet flavoured, crunchy textured cucumbers with insignificant seeds that make it perfect for pickling. Also known as Parisian Pickling, French Gherkin and Improved Bourbonne.

|Position:||Full sun, moist well drained soil|
|Days to Maturity/flowering:||70 days (50 days for pickling)|
|Care:||Can be grown on ground or as a climber. Pick regularly to encourage more fruit. Avoid overhead watering.|
