Annual grown for its seeds which are used as a flavouring. Black mustard has the strongest flavour of all the mustards; commonly used in curries, salads and as a general flavouring. Leaves are used as a salad green or leaf vegetable. Fast growing. Heavy producing. Can be used as a green manure.
