Description

Aloe- Sparkler™

Aloe hybrid 'LEO 6140'

NOT FOR TAS, WA

  • Succulent perennial to 40cm
  • Ivory and green flowers with bright orange anthers
  • Excellent choice for containers

A succulent, clump-forming perennial growing to 40cm with a cluster of thick, fleshy upright leaves. Plants produce elegant long flower spikes of ivory to white flowers tinged with green. The flowers open to reveal yellow filaments and bright orange anthers. Attracts honey eating birds and beneficial insects. Flowers are long-lasting, blooming at any time but particularly in the colder months. Suited to growing in garden beds and borders, mass planting or growing in medium to large containers.

Ornamental aloes are long-lived perennials that produce flower spikes over a long flowering period, mainly in autumn, winter and spring. The clumps of upright leaves look attractive year-round. Plants are low maintenance, heat and drought tolerant. The Aloe Aloe range of aloes has been bred for adaptability to garden conditions, prolific flowering over a long period, and for flowering as young plants.

Note: bare-rooted plants or 'pups' vary in size and stages of root development.
