Each pack of seeds comes in its own individual envelope, so you can split them up and give them out individually, or as one gift. Perfect for Secret Santa, stocking stuffers, or even with your Bon Bons on the Christmas table.

  • 1 x Silverbeet- Magenta (Beta vulgaris)

    Biennial normally grown as an annual, growing to 60cm. Green leaves with narrow magenta stalks that are tender with an excellent flavour. Very attractive both in the garden and in meals. Silver beet is also known as "Swiss Chard" and is often confused with "Spinach".

    Life Cycle: Hardy Biennial
    Plant Height: 60cm
    Position: Full sun, moist well drained soil

  • 1 x Mizuna (Brassica juncea var. japonica)

    Serrated green leaves have a mild but spicy flavour. Can be used fresh as a salad green or cooked as a leaf vegetable. Good in stir-fries and soups. Will tolerate wet and cold conditions. Sometimes called "Japanese mustard".

    Good for microgreens and baby leaf production.

  • 1 x Bunching Onion- Straight Leaf (Allium fistulosum)

    Salad onion. Forms no bulb. Stem and leaf grow straight up. Popular variety with nice flavour; good as a garnish, in dips, stews, soups, salads and stir fry's. Bunching onions are also known as "Welsh onions", often used as "Spring onions" and sometimes incorrectly called "Shallots".

  • 1 x Tomato- Tommy Toe (Solanum lycopersicum)

    Heirloom and one of the most popular varieties available. Climbing. Large cherry tomatoes growing up to 4cm. Exceptional flavour; very sweet. Long cropping. Good disease resistance.

  • 1 x Beetroot- Detroit (Beta vulgaris)

    Very popular variety for growing roots, baby leaves and microgreens. Dark red, globe shaped roots growing up to 7cm; very good flavour. Green tops with tinges of dark red. Resistant to downy mildew.

  • 1 x Cucumber- Lebanese (Cucumis sativus)

    Summer salad vegetable. Smooth green skin with sweet crisp flesh growing to 22cm. Excellent for salads and pickling. Also known as "Beit Alpha".

  • 1 x Zucchini- Black Beauty (Cucurbita pepo)

    Upright bush. Popular home garden variety producing dark green cylindrical fruit with tender cream/white flesh. Delicious flavour. Quick growing.

  • 1 x Carrot- Chantenay Red Cored (Daucus carota)

    Short and wide, red/orange tapered roots growing to 12cm by 6.5cm. Ideal for heavy soils. Small cores. Stores well. Sweet and tender. Fast growing.

    Life Cycle: Half hardy Biennial (usually grown as an annual)

  • 1 x Lettuce- Salad Bowl Green (Lactuca sativa)

    Looseleaf variety. Delicate and tender green wavy leaves. Good for salads. Slow bolting. Does not get bitter in hot weather.

  • 1 x Pumpkin- Small Sugar (Cucurbita pepo)

    Heirloom variety from late 1800's. Small uniform round pumpkins with orange skin, orange flesh, sugary sweet flavour and smooth texture. Fruit grows to around 18cm or 2kg. Flesh is said to be one of the best varieties for making pies, it is also good for baking, soups and casseroles. Stores well.
