Corn, Maize- Multicoloured Aztec
Zea mays
NOT TO WA, TAS OR NT
- Multi-coloured kernals
- Heirloom Aztec variety
Heirloom multi-coloured variety originally farmed by the Aztecs. Plants produce good sized cobs that have multicoloured kernels in shades of primary colours. Can be eaten fresh when young or left to mature and used for corn flour, animal feed or decorative purposes.
Corn cobs need to remain on the plant until the husks are completely dry before harvesting. This is important to allow the corn to develop the coloured kernels.
