When to Harvest After flowering when no petals remain on the seed heads and they change colour from green to brown.
How to Harvest

Cut branches bearing seed heads and dry on a plate or in a container for 10-14 days. Collect any seeds that are released. Rub stems between hands or roll over stems with a rolling pin to release the seeds.

How to Clean

Screen or winnow to remove remaining stalks and chaff.
