A tiger lily producing apricot to salmon pink outward facing flowers with a spattering of dark spots. Lightly fragrant. Mature bulbs produce 12 or more flowers per stem, with the lower ones opening first. The long, glossy lance-shaped leaves grow in a spiral arrangement on the stems. A favourite variety of tiger lily originally bred by in the US by Judith Freeman more than 30 years ago.
Tiger lilies grow on tall 1.2m stems, making them suited to garden beds and borders as well as containers and cut flowers. Their strong stems bear abundant blooms in summer, with each stem often producing 12 flowers. They are easy to grow and will flower in the garden year after year.
