Italian heirloom variety. Plants have a semi-vining habit and produce large ribbed green/grey zucchinis with flecked skin. Excellent nutty flavour with a firm flesh which holds its shape well when cooked. Great all purpose variety. Quick growing and produces an abundance of fruit. Large flower blossoms popular for stuffing. Also known as "Costa Romanesque", "Costata Romanesca" and "Roman Ribbed Zucchini".
