Ratings & Reviews

10/10

Excellent germination rate and sprouted very quickly. As another person has noted above, fertilising is a bad idea as nasturtiums thrive in poor soil. If this is your first time growing them, you should be aware that left unchecked they can be as invasive as plants in the mint family. On one past occasion I had four nasturtium seedlings colonise an entire garden bed in six months!

Very good

I have had mixed success with my nasturtiums but those that have done well are thriving. The ones near my bananas and veggies didn't do too well but I think I over fertilised and it seems they prefer to be just ignored and don't like the soil too rich. Will plant again next spring but choose my positions more carefully and let them just do their thing.
