Turnip- Purple Top White Globe
4 January 2021First time growing turnips; I grew these in a raised bed and found them to be extremely vigorous and fast growing. I love the peppery taste; picked one or two every 3 days and used the bulb and greens in soups, stews and salads. Highly recommended...

Great and versatile
23 August 2018We like Turnips and decided to grow them for the first time this year. I had very good success with this variety, no pest pressure at all and the growth rate was amazing. We pick ours when about 8cm when still very tender. We julienne them with some Beetroot and make salad, Bake them with other vegetables or cook them in a stew, also the tops can be eaten or fed to the chickens.
