A green manure / Bio-fumigant used to control nematodes, soil-borne pathogens, reduce weed regrowth and help improve soil health overall. Is a natural alternative to chemical soil conditioning.

Brassica napus is a naturally occurring cross between Brassica rapa and Brassica oleracea with a high level of the chemical glucosinolate, this is the chemical that gives mustard its hot pungent flavour. When mustard is cut and dug into the soil it is this chemical decomposing that fumigates the soil.
How to grow:
- Prepare soil for sowing ; remove any weeds and cultivate well.
- Sow seed at a rate of 10g to 10 square metres into cultivated soil. Sowing depth: 5-10mm
- Grow until the plants are approaching flowering then cut or slash and dig into the soil to decompose.
